Bidirectional Class - European Number
European Number is a bidirectional class value used to classify digits and numeral forms originating from Western European writing systems, such as the Arabic numerals 0 through 9. In the Unicode bidirectional algorithm, these characters behave as strong left-to-right tokens, meaning they are rendered in left-to-right order even when surrounded by right-to-left text like Hebrew or Arabic. This classification ensures that numbers embedded in mixed directional contexts maintain their logical sequence and are not visually reordered incorrectly. European Number also applies to certain superscripts, subscripts, and other digit-like symbols that share the same directional behavior, allowing consistent handling across diverse scripts and formatting.
