This value applies to characters like letters, digits, punctuation such as periods or commas, and any symbol that lacks a specific bracket counterpart. When a character has this value, it is ignored during bidirectional text resolution for bracket pairing, meaning it neither opens nor closes a bracket pair, nor does it affect the directional ordering of adjacent bracket characters. Essentially, it denotes complete non-participation in bracket pairing, allowing the bidi algorithm to treat the character purely on its other inherent directional properties.
