No is the designation for characters that remain identical in form when converted to titlecase, meaning their titlecase mapping is the same as their original character. This applies to the vast majority of Unicode characters, including all lowercase letters that already have an uppercase equivalent (since titlecase of a lowercase letter produces the standard uppercase form, not the letter itself) and virtually all symbols, digits, punctuation, spaces, and other non-cased marks. For such characters, the conversion process yields no visual change, so they carry the "No" value to indicate that no special titlecasing transformation is required. Examples include 'a' (maps to 'A', but the character itself changes, so 'a' actually gets "Yes"), so more precisely, "No" applies to characters like 'A' (stays 'A'), '3', or '%', where the output is the exact same code point. This value ensures that algorithms can quickly skip processing for these neutral or already-titlecase forms.
