Script - Sunuwar

Sunuwar is a script used to write the Sunuwar language, spoken by the Sunuwar people in eastern Nepal. Its Unicode encoding captures a distinct, historically recent writing system developed in the 20th century, featuring around 40 letters with inherent vowel sounds and a set of diacritics for vowel modification and tone marking. The script is notable for its clear, geometric letterforms, often appearing angular with straight strokes, and it follows a left‑to‑right horizontal direction.
