Tagbanwa is an abugida script historically used to write the Tagbanwa language on the island of Palawan in the Philippines, and its encoded characters represent syllable units where each consonant inherently carries the vowel /a/, with diacritics modifying other vowels. The script is written left to right and lacks punctuation, relying on spaces or traditional marks for separation.
